Key Responsibilities

This position combines patient administration and hands-on front desk support within a collaborative team environment.

Our location is transit accessible within walking distance to Jane Station and also offers free parking.

What we are looking for:

  • 3+ years of dental office experience is required
  • Proven experience presenting treatment plans and discussing financial arrangements
  • Knowledgeable in insurance procedures and claims
  • Strong understanding of dental procedures, dental codes, and billing
  • Strong understanding of recall and hygiene workflow
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent phone and email etiquette: demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
  • Customer service mindset with the ability to create a warm, friendly environment for our patients

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk Support

  • Greet and assist patients, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all
  • Answer phones and effectively communicate with patients regarding their appointment, treatment plans, and address any inquiries they may have.
  • Build a positive rapport with patients
  • Manage the schedule by coordinating appointments.
  • Process insurance claims and patient payments

Patient and Administrative Coordination

  • Perform insurance eligibility checks
  • Contribute to hygiene and recall management by calling patients who are due or overdue for their dental hygiene care
  • Ensure accurate patient information and scheduling notes
  • Communicate effectively with hygiene providers and dentists about schedule needs-
  • Maintaining a positive and service‑driven approach to all patient interactions

 • Tuesday: 8:00–4:30
 • Wednesday: 8:00–7:00
 • 2 Thursdays/month: 8:00–4:30
 • Friday: 8:00–4:00

 • A Level 2 DA with solid IPAC skills
 • Positive, reliable, and great with patients
